So.
I got to my elementary school this morning, told my teacher the situation about having to vote in Davis, and he said, "Go! Go now!" It was amazing. A total miracle...I would not have to miss class in the afternoon, because my teacher was blessing me to go in the morning, without feeling (too) guilty for missing school.
I drove really fast and got home by 10AM and voted at Explorit, right next to my house!!
Then I got my homework done (a classroom management plan that is totally idealistic but awesome) at home before driving back to Stanford and making it back in time to quickly eat a sandwich and go to class with my roommate.
I got to class, turned in my homework, and thoroughly enjoyed my time in math class conceptualizing division.
Then.
While talking with my classmates, one of them mentioned that the 10-15 page range for the assignment had been such a pain for him."Wait, 10 to 15 pages?!" I exclaimed.
Because...here's the thing...I wrote 3 pages. Maybe my classroom management plan was not as thorough as it should have been?
GG NO RE.
Thankfully my classmates are the most gracious and amazing people on earth because they keep things in perspective for me. "No big," they said, "Just email the profs. This assignment was for you!" So I did. And I am praying that I do not have to write 7 more pages, at least not this week....
Life is funny and totally not in my control.
